In view of the current Covid-19 pandemic scenario and the vaccination schedule in Brazil, ABM’s Board of Directors and Executive Management have decided to postpone the ABM WEEK 6th edition into the next year.

The technical-scientific week, which would take place from October 19 to 21, 2021 is now scheduled for June 7-8, 2022. The venue remains unchanged: Pro Magno Centro de Eventos, in São Paulo.

According to ABM CEO, Horacidio Leal Barbosa Filho, the unanimous decision for the postponement considered the uncertainties as to the safety of a face-to-face event in October.

“Our top priority is always people's lives! Even with the advance of vaccination, we don’t think it’s advisable to hold an international event this size now. We believe everyone will be vaccinated by June next year and then we will be able to carry out the ABM WEEK under safe health conditions. And the 6th edition is set to be a great success! We are excited and looking forward to gathering all together again,” says Leal.

Paper submission

Due to the postponement, work submission was reopened and the new deadline is 10th December. Registration with 10% discount has also been extended until 31st December. The release of the full program is scheduled for April 4, 2022.
